Green Mountain Power Rolls Out LEAF Power Program

Big incentive and rebate likely to increase EV penetration in Vermont.

Green Mountain Power is teaming up with Nissan to offer its customers a special rebate on the purchase of a new 2017 Nissan LEAF electric vehicle.

The utility, by means of local car dealership arrangements, is facilitating $10,000 off the suggested retail price (MSRP) of the car, and in addition, purchases are slated to receive a federal tax incentive of up to $7,500.

The Nissan Leaf is 100% all-electric with a range of up to 107 miles. Green Mountain Power has enabled customers to make the move to EV with greater assurance based on its investments in EV charging infrastructure, with charging stations throughout Vermont and links to facilitate customer’s access through GMP Plug’n Go charging or visit Drive Electric Vermont.
