The state has set an ambitious target of generating 50 percent of its electricity from renewable energy by the year 2030, and stands well on its way to achieving this goal with more than 25 percent of current electricity generated by renewable means.

Transitioning towards a renewable energy future requires the able support of the state along with all of its green energy evangelists. The California Renewables Rush event to be held at the heart of Silicon Valley aims to look deeper into the scope and challenges that the state faces in the process of achieving this monumental feat.

San Francisco continues to captivate the minds of people all over the world. It is a playground in paradise for technology and innovation. It now looks to power the majority of its energy needs sustainably.

The epicenter of the Silicon Valley dream, San Francisco is set to host this landmark event to spur interest in these issues, bringing together like-minded leaders. The event will look at finding solutions and laying a foundation for a sustainable, green future.

The event is set to showcase the California dream in an entirely different light, with industry leaders from the federal government, state and some of the biggest names in the energy sector. The California Renewables Rush looks to capture the essence of the new age ‘gold rush.’

The stage is set for the change agents of tomorrow to embark on this journey and the dawn of a new age. They’re planning to keep the sun shining long and strong for all of the world to see.
